[users] Conversion to Microsoft?

I was just wondering if I typed something into the OpenOffice spreadsheet and 
saved my work to a floppy disk, could I open my work at a different computer 
that has Microsoft Excel onto the Excel spreadsheet?  Does the work I do on my 
downloaded OpenOffice go to Microsoft if I opened my saved work on a computer 
that did not have OpenOffice, but did have Microsoft.  Thanks!
