Have just replaced a hard drive; used to have OO writer 1. I now have 2. I managed to set the keyboard to US-Intl previously, but can't seem to do it with the new system. (I mean the keyboard where single/double quote, `/~ and ^ (6-shift) become dead keys that place accents over the relevant letters-- the old system called it Canada, IIRC.) I type a lot in Spanish and French and other languages where accents are used, and this feature is absolutely essential.
When I went to the Keyboard settings, there was indeed a US-Intl Setting, but it just didn't work. Also, there was something about a Dvorak keyboard, which I certainly don't want. Hope you can help, with step by step instructions.
