Look under "Program Files\OpenOffice.org 2.0\share\dict\ooo" and make sure 
your thesaurus files have a "V2.dat" or "V2.idx" at the end.
If you are using the english version your files should be dated somewhere 
around Sept. 12 of this year, and the "en_US.dic" should be 695728 bytes or 
there about.
I can't remember if I've upgraded my windows partition to 2.0.1 on this box so 
the date and size of the en_US.dic file may be off a little.

Of course someone who knows more about the dictionary files may be able to 
help more here if this isn't the problem.
