Now received, and it *is* 2.0.1.
My V1 is in /opt/OpenOffice.org/. So as to be able to use V2 as well -
both using the same set of .sxw files - is it OK to install it in e.g.
/opt/OpenOffice2.org/? (Does installation provide a choice?)
Do I need to install as Root? (Bit worried about permissions for 'user';
this is a single-user workstation.)
Using SuSE 9.0 (Pro) I envisage using the Konqureror option - for each of
the RPMs - to 'Install using YAST'. (or is it better to use the global
'rpm' command?)
Do the RPMs have to be installed in any particular order to avoid
dependency problems?
In the DeskTop-Integration directory on the installation CD there is an
RPM '...suse-menus...'. Once installed how is that used?
The RPM's I found in the RPMS directory are:
jre (Java), Base, Calc, core01-10 (incl. core04u and core05u), draw,
emailmerge, gnome-integration (but I use KDE), graphics-filter, compress,
javafilter, pyono (what's that?!), spellchk, testtool, writer, xsltfilter
(what's that?!).
Advice, suggestions, warnings, etc. would be much appreciated...
