I have studied Help re tab but what is a user defined tab?
If no text is highlighted I click on the ruler where I need
a tab, select the type and that is that. When I highlight
more than one line the tabs disappear.
All tabs taht are not exactly the same for each one of the lines you
highlight will not be shown on the ruler. I think this is different in MS
Word. It's a long time I used Word now, but I think I remember that tabs
common for all selected lines are visible and those who appear on one or
more of the lines are there too, but in gray, not in black. Maybe a future
feature for OOo?
