Ok, Dan. Sorry I didn't made myself clear. I need something to graph this ficticious data: Supose that King John lived 19 years when his son Mathew was born. Afterwards, he lived for 55 years, and then John died. Mathew lived for 21 years before his child James was born, Then he lived for 23 more years before he was murdered. James lived for 37 years before his son Oliver was born. Then he lived for another 32 years, and died. How do I graph this? Like Jeff said, a wedding would also contain this sort of data, as would any event or project being planned. Ivo's examples where perfect, and exactly what I am looking for. I will look at Immendio Planner, thanks Ivo. RLShadow, yes Microsoft Project would fit the bill, except for (a) I don't own it and (b) I use Linux. I was hoping to use OpenOffice.org for my timeline, as I already have all my data in Calc. Thanks for replying. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
