This OpenOffice Writer attachment is a print-screen of what the Outlook Express Spelling Option window looks like. The icon in the upper left corner identifies it as Outlook Express, not the yellow icon of Microsoft Outlook. The option is available from the menu in the Inbox, as indicated below, and can be added to the toolbar in a new message by going into View, Toolbars, Customize, highlighting the Spellchecker feature and clicking the Add arrow to put it in the toolbar. Unfortunately, Outlook Express doesn't allow pasting of print-screens, so this attachment will have to do.

Go into Tools, Options, Spelling. The first item listed will let you select the automatic spell checker.

Are you maybe talking about Outlook instead of Outlook Express? There is no such item in OE.

How can I get the Spellchecker working in Outlook Express for E.Mails ? it works in Wordtockument put not in E.Mail.
