On the Mac, even the trivial attached OO1 presentation hangs as soon as
I try to edit text. In addition if I create a new OO2 presentation it
locks up as soon as I try to enter text. [I doubt it's relevant but I
have tried FSF, IBM and none for the Java runtime].

On an Athlon box (also Ubuntu Breezy with 1.9.129) it needs a complex
presentation with links to movies, when OO hangs after the viewer has
been spawned.
