I just took another look to see if I was missing something. I see that there is a place to set the spacing between the default tab stops, but this has no bearing upon manually setting the position of the margins or tabs. The only other thing that seems as if it could be applicable is the resolution and subdivisions for the grid. However, this also has no effect on the margin or tab positioning. I see where I can change the units for the horizontal and vertical rulers, but with them set to "Inch", the subdivisions shown on the ruler are 1/10th of an inch rather than 1/8th. I guess I wasn't as clear as I should have been in my original explanation. The problem I am having is that when I manually try to place a tab stop or when I attempt to reposition the margins using the little triangular icons, I would like them to "snap" to positions based upon a horizontal resolution that I can specify. The adjustment is currently just too "fine" to be able to get accurate alignment between different locations within the document. So now, if I have missed something obvious, feel free to let me have it! :-) Regards, -- Jeffery Small --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
