Dave: Nabble is currently archiving most of the OpenOffice mailing lists to make them searchable and also browsable from web in a threaded view. The openoffice-users list is here: http://www.nabble.com/openoffice---users-f12771.html Newbies should search the archive before posting their questions. This will prevent most of the same questions being repeatedly asked. We started the Nabble project in part trying to help technical discussions solve this problem.
