I do not run any "Desktop Environment" :-) Just a simple window manager. I assume that what I see is the native OO theme, because on my windows XP computer it looks exactly the same (same gradients). You are right that OO adopts the desktop theme if I start it with "--widgets-set gtk" or "--widgets-set kde", but I don't want that. The toolbar looks quite nice, except these gradients.
