Both can work -sort of!
Insert... Object... Sound appears to give more choice of file types but
not all will play - depends on your system.
Insert... Movie & Sound gives a narrower choice but at least they play.
Sound and Impress are not yet too companionable. You may only play sound
in individual slides, playing during a presentation is not possible
(unless you place an MP3 player near your computer :-D )
