In my experience, it's dependent on the RAM in the computer. On a
machine with 256 megabytes of RAM, a 638 megabyte graphic (don't ask)
won't load. On a different machine with 1 gigabyte of RAM, the file
loads. It loads slowly, but it does load.
I have 1 GB but about 20 secs after trying to open teh file, Task Manager shows that the
program is "not responding".
Incidentally, the ODT file includes about 50K worth of XML files and about 500K
of PNG files.
