Could you also tell the types of controls involved here? You already
mentioned some radio buttons, but what are the others?

There is at least one known heavy performance problem if you have a Calc
document with lots of list boxes (combo boxes probably suffer it, too).

Also, because of some specialities of Calc, it seems that opening a form
in Calc could be about 3 times slower than opening "the same" (with
respect to the controls) form in Writer. Normally, this isn't noticable,
but this to some degree explains why it is *that* slow: Any performance
penalty from the form controls is roughly tripled in Calc.

Both problems are known, though at least for the first I do now know
whether it applies to your case.

In any case, I'd ask you to submit an issue for this, and attach a
sample .odb, plus a script generating the table (structure only, no data
is necessary I assume).
