I bet you can't -- as you can't with MS Access -- build a `professional' database system with it. Although this is seen tried all so often, I haven't seen something that was really `professional'. Where, with professional, I mean `maintainable', 'scalable' and `usable'. As for macros, look in the menu for Extras -> Macros. It supports OOo Basic, Python, BeanShell and Javascript in my Version.
