I also use Word Perfect Professional Suite 8. OpenOffice will directly read in text portions of Word Perfect, however will not read any graphics. OpenOffice Calc will not directly read in Quattro Pro spreadsheets saved in Quattro Pro format. Quattro Pro spreadsheets have to be re-saved as Excel, then OpenOffice will read them in.
