It appears that when you downloaded the installer package you saved it to your desktop, which is the icon you are seeing there. By clicking on that icon you are restarting the installer package again. If you have successfully installed the program, you will find a new program group under the "Start -> All Programs" menu. Start one of the program applications you see there (I suggest "Writer", but it doesn't really matter which one). First time through you will be asked to go through a short wizard setup (registration is optional - your choice). After the program has been started one you will find an icon (Quickstarter) in you your task bar tray next to clock, with a couple of flying birds on it. Right mouse click on that icon and see what you get. You say that the installer package runs when you start your computer. Are you sure what you are seeing is the installer package, not the wizard mentioned above? If it is really the installer package that is starting, you must have put it somewhere in Windows start up area. Take a look at your "Start" menu "Programs/All Programs -> Startup" and see if it is listed under that menu. If it is right mouse click on it and select delete.
