I have done a recent migration from MSoffice to OOo. I opened my old
*.ppt files with OOo impress then saved the files as *.odp.
My problem is that I cannot copy and paste slides with graphs (or
tables) originally created in MSexcell or word. When I paste the slide
(or the graph alone) the graph is replaced with an object number with a
small logo (same with duplicate page command).
At the end I've found a way to solve my own problem!! Before copying an
ex-excell object, use: right clik on the object/convert as/metafile
(bitmap do not save transparent background)
This menu will not open on an ex-MSobject alone, but il will open with the
ex-MSobject grouped with an open office object (i.e. an empty and
transparent box).
