A working master document feature is what brought me to OpenOffice.org
in the first place, a couple years ago, and it's still one of the
features I tout to friends as a reason to switch. But:

There's one problem I've always had and still have in 2.0. It's a minor
annoyance, but I'd like to know if I can fix it. Whenever I open a
master document, the page style I use for the first page is lost. I have
to click in the header and reapply my first page style. Then it looks
fine. When I close the master document and reopen it, however, I've lost
my first-page page style and have to do it again. It takes about two
seconds to fix, but I'd rather not have to fix it every time.

Is there something I can do in my master document or subdocument (which
uses the same template and page styles with no problem) to keep this
from happening every time I open my master document?
