Maybe. Impress doesn't support that function, AFAICT.
But something occurred to me...
It should be possible to split the wave file appropriately using a sound
editor (I would recommend Audacity... Google for it) and then attach
each wave file that resulted to the transition for the appropriate
slide. If you timed it all right this might work, but I've never tried it.
