Hi Tom,
The default security settings in OE prevent many attachments from
opening. I used to be able to give instructions on how to fix this from
memory, but it's been several years since I switched to Mozilla.. Poke
around in options and you should fine a check box that's labeled along
the lines of 'Prevent me from opening......' .
