2.0.1 is probably what you have. The Help About show 2.0.. then if you
type CTRL+SDT it'll show you "680m1 Build 8990". Which is what you want.
I've been looking both in these archives and on oooforum.org for an
answer to this, and I don't think there is one. It's something that
would be wonderful to have, but it's not in it yet.
So what's the answer?
If you're controlling the presentation, simply open a sound file in
Media Player.
If you're not controlling the sound file, you could export the
presentation to flash and then maybe embed the sound and the flash
presentation into a wbepage or sumtin. I haven't tried either yet... but
now that I'm on the subject I will.
With luck someone will write to tell me I'm an idiot and all you have to
do is press a few buttons to get it to work!

Hello, I looked at the info I was given. I already have OpenOffice 2.0...when
I tried to download 2.0.1 it only installs the 2.0. I am not sure they are
different or not. So I am still using the same one as before which gave me the
problem. Anything else you can suggest???
Thank you for your time.

Hi - I am trying to put a slide show together using OpenOffice Impress. I
want to have background music like I would do with Powerpoint but it stops
once the slide changes. How can I adjust this to play for more than one
slide? Thank you for your time and help.
Hi,
I think that this may now work with OpenOffice.org 2.0.1. Can you please
upgrade and verify ?
