There are flowcharting symbols in Draw (at least OOo2.0.1 has them). In the draw toolbar there's an item for flowcharts that expands to show lots of standard symbols. Lots of other shapes and symbols are available as well. I don't recall these in OOv1 - so you might want/need to upgrade your OOo.
