Well, you have to tell Pat Volkerding about having official Slackware packs of OOO. As far as i know, he doesn't include stuff in Slackware if he believes it's stable enough. If you ask me, i like the old installer, not the RPM-style packs. I guess RPMs are the most popular packaging format :(
