Hi, I would really love to help you, but I also have no idea. I have had a look at the German installation handbook, and it says, that the computer must have at minimum 128 MB RAM and 250 MB free disk space. I guess, that you have checked both requirements.

In the German installation guide they say, that it should be jre 1.4.1_01 (minimum). Maybe the jre-version is too new for his OS? Have you tried an older version (1.4.1_01)? That's what I would try. I really hope, that you can solve together with Bob these problems.
