Hi!
I´m German and I have an American girlfriend and she really tries not to brake
any laws.
At my last visit I brought her on my memory stick the Open Office package and
installed it on her computer.
But she doesn´t believe me that it is totally for free and not only for a short
time.
I showed her the website and she read the part about the "community distribution" and it sounds like
to her you have to register or something.
Her main question is. If I download the package and share it (distribute it)
with her, is it okay that she can
keep it and use it?
I know it is a silly question because your whole wesite says it but she doesn´t
believe me and she wants to have an official answer from you.
Thank you very much for your time and understanding.

OpenOffice may be freely distributed, indeed it is positively
encouraged. Your girlfriend may keep it and use it forever and doesn't
have to register it. However, registration is free of charge and only
takes a minute.
Enjoy
