I downlaoded OO 2.0.1. I checked the MD5 checksum. The checksum changed after I applied some settings under windows. First checksum: C:\Open Office>md5sum.exe oo* e8258db5f52a7e49be0fef22a6d6eea8 *OOo_2.0.1_Win32Intel_install_de.exe Checksum after I removed the setting "make an index for faster file finding" C:\Open Office>md5sum.exe oo* beb7339f8026767c257ca0b95da82905 *OOo_2.0.1_Win32Intel_install_de.exe Checksum after I resored the original setting for "make an index for faster file finding" C:\Open Office>md5sum.exe oo* d25d446568393351024f390ac7403da7 *OOo_2.0.1_Win32Intel_install_de.exe Since that change the checksum didn't change any more. Ok, I know the checksum was invalid since the first time, but anyway, I didn't expect the checksum to change. Can someone reproduce this behaviour? My OS is Windows XP Professional 2002 SP2, all hotfixes installed running on an Athlon XP 1700+ Thank you Thomas Weller
