Of course this is possible, but for me it is not an option for the following reason (among others). In order to get a really good-looking result I'd have to scale all logos (e.g. with GIMP) for a certain screen resolution. Now, if anyone will watch the presentation on his own screen with a different resolution, the logos will be scaled by OpenOffice and thus they will be looking bad. That's why a state-of-the-art scaling algorithm is necessary to be included in OpenOffice, IMO.
