Thanks for the suggestion. Doesn't really help, though. I know how to include chapter names in headers and footers already. What I need to be able to do is to include chapter numbering in the footer without that numbering being visible in the chapter header. This is very easily done in M$ Word. Isn't there a way to do it in OOo Writer? Thanks again.
