Hi, trying to show you more of the problem, I tried to actually send
this list an Email with mail-merge from a Write document.
Yet, the mail manager does not authorize HTML content.
the problem is the following: where images are present in my ODT
document, mail-merge converts them to HTML lines such as:
<P STYLE="margin-bottom: 0cm"><IMG SRC="sv39j_tmp_305bc7d6.jpg" NAME="graphics5"
WIDTH=797 HEIGHT=122 BORDER=0></P>
but, it does not actually attach the referenced file (here
sv39j_tmp_305bc7d6.jpg) to the Email. Hence, one contemplates an empty square
in the email...
Shall I modify some config parameters to make sure that the images are shipped
along, or is this a bug that I should report somewhere?

Hi,
I've tried using the mailmerge function of Writer 2.0.1. It works well
but for a (annoying) problem:
When using it to send an email newsletter, the images of the document
do not appear in the Email:
the html code of the email has the code for the image, and the place
for it appear correctly, but it is blank.
Obviously because the image file itself is not there...(should it be
as an attachment?)
Is it normal (not planned so far), or is there some options that I
need to activate to get it working?
Many thanks in advance for any hint,
Xavier
