They seems to work in Draw documents. It kind of makes sense. There's
always the magnification factor in the status line at the bottom for
Writer ....

I am working a document where I need to zoom in and out a lot. So I added
three zoom icons to my (only) toolbar -- zoom+, zoom- and plain zoom.
Plain zoom has a drop-down where you can choose the zoom percentage,
plus "fit to page" and something else. It works fine, but the zoom+ and
zoom- buttons are dead. I assume they are supposed to keep zooming in
and out a certain increment each time you click on them, but nothing at all
happens when I do so.
Bug? Something I did wrong? Suggestions?
I see the same thing in writer for OO 1.4.1 and 2.0. I asked about this
and got no replies. I do not understand why the zoom-in and zoom-out
buttons are always greyed out. The Zoom menu is a bit of a pain since
you have to select the zoom level and then select OK (I consider this an
unnecessary step).
Is there something that needs to be set (possibly a zoom factor) before the
zoom buttons will work? Do they work for anyone else?
