What version of OOo are you using, and does it look correct in print
preview or when exporting to PDF?

I tried both in OOo2.0.1 (on Linux), sorted a section of a spreadsheet
and exported to PDF. It appears correct in both, particularly when I
look at the PDF in Adobe Reader. I haven't tried printing to a real
printer.
