     While there are some differences between PowerPoint and OOo's Impress, 
PowerPoint files can be read and written to by OOo. Just make sure that any 
slide show modified in OOo is saved as a PowerPoint file (*.ppt). The same 
things are true for Excel and OOo's Calc. (In this case, the files should be 
saved as an *.xlc). (I think the extension is correct.)
