This may be a bug. If your doc is not too sensitive, can you please
report this in issuezilla ? ( http://openoffice.org -> "My Pages" ->
"Register", then when you receive a confirmation email, "Login" and
"File an issue" )
In this way the relevant developers will see your bug report /
suggestion and you will also see the progress of this feature / bug
report if it is accepted.

It appears that related bugs have already been posted (7817, 17996,
16444, 20249), and today the popup is now disappearing. Odd. Looks
like it's being addressed. Thanks for the help.
