What happened when you tried bit torrent - when using this did it also freeze? Assuming your in the USA select only from the US mirrors (a mirror is a location where a copy of the program can be downloaded from).
Are any error messages displayed (even without using bit torrent)? On the CD front, the distributors (if selected from the distribution page) should be farily reliable concerning the contents of any CD's you purchase. Sounds a little strange... /paul On 2/15/06, Sharlyn Bolinger <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hello, > > My computer has Windows XP Home Edition version 2003 Service Pack 2 and > easily meets all requirements needed to support OpenOffice.org 2.0.1. > > I have tried every way offered to download OpenOffice.org 2.0.1., only to > have it freeze prior to completion.
