I'm afraid I'm a bit lost myself. I'm thinking that you mean you either
click the button that once in Open Office you click on the New File button
or else you go to File - New to open a new word processing document. But
you'd also like to be able to delete the file from your hard drive with
either a button or from the File pulldown menu.
If I'm wrong, stop reading here and let me know.
Deleting files is outside of the scope of a program such as Word or
OpenOffice. Normally to delete a file you need to go the folder it's
stored in (such as My Documents) and after clicking it once to turn it
blue, hitting the delete key to "blow it away."
Is this pretty much where you're at? Or am I just getting this entire
thing wrong. :)
