time. When I used Word, I could program a key combination to make the symbol
appear. I could not spot the option in Office, is it hiding somewhere or

There are a number of methods; my preferred one is to install Ian
Laurenson's wonderful "AltKeyHandler" add-on which allows you to assign
key combinations (using Alt, Ctrl-Alt, Shift-Alt or Shft-Ctrl-Alt) to
symbols, commands or macros. Takes a few minutes to install and set up
your own preferred key-combinations, but its well worth it!
