Dear Madam, Sir
Of course I would like to support open source software, but it is a crime to
always, again and again, learn every function from the program one is using,
and search in every deep hole of it...
Now there is one function which drives me mad. When I write, I write each
character on my own. That is the way I have always written, and may it be
the lack of imagination, but I can not imagine to write one day in a
completely different way.
But this function... when I am writing a word, like "Monday", after typing
the characters "Mon" this function automaticly gives a suggestion to end the
word with "day". Very nice. My compliments for those who have invented this.
But I am not going to use it ever.
I would like to switch this off. Once, I managed to switch off this
function. Now, I have formatted and reinstalled the programmes on my
computer, but now, I can not find any more how to switch this off. And a
function which is giving me suggestions how to end words while I am writing,
well... I experience it as bloody, bloody annoying.
Maybe you could give me some help. I already tried out the Help-function. I
already switched off the grammar- and the wordcheck. I already switched off
a lot of functions, but it still gives me suggestions how to end words.
Now, unfortunately, this evening I will continue with Word. Next time
better...
