for more info. And yes the response was non-specific because I do not
have your document nor did I know what you wanted. May I suggest that
making a backup of any document you have that you wish to change and
then trying the various techniques on the copy. That way you can get an
idea of how to proceed.

Chapter number (E#)
Entry text (E) Inserts the text of the chapter heading.
Tab stop (T) Inserts a tab stop. Page number (#)

Hyperlink (LS and LE)
Creates a hyperlink for the part of the entry that you enclose by the opening
(LS) and the closing (LE) hyperlink tags. On the Structure line, click in the
empty box in front of the part that you want to create a hyperlink for, and
then click this button. Click in the empty box after the part that you want to
hyperlink, and then click this button again.

I want to hyperlink each heading. There's no symbol for a heading. I was told to click in the box to the left
of "Chapter number" and click "Hyperlink"; then click in the box to the right of
"Entry Text", etc. How do these relate to LS and LE?

I'm obviously not seeing something!
