To Chris: How does one get the calendar to be accessible from OOo? I downloaded it and it opens the OOo file format, but to keep it, I need to transfer it to the templates section of OOo.

Thanks Chris for the Calendar
There is just one thing I wish you might offer, and that is one withou the
colored background as with the present background it uses up a lot of ink
which is expensive for me.
But thanks again

Bud

Subject: Re: [users] Perpetial Calendar Calc Sheet

I have created a perpetual calendar using Calc. It probably has been
done before but I did it for the challenge. It consists of 2 sheets.
The first is a template for 1 month. You enter a month number and year
and the calendar is created dynamically using formulas. There are no
macros. The calendar displays holidays that are on the 2nd sheet. The
second sheet contains a list of holidays. The dates are generated
based on the year entered on the 1st sheet. It has fixed holidays,
holidays that are 1st, 2nd, etc. week of month, and holidays related
to Easter.

The calendar displays up to 2 holidays for a single date. The second
search was a challenge.

You can find it at http://www.dcsi.net/~denmarks/Calendar.ods. IE will
changed it to a zip file when downloaded so you will have to rename it
back to ods. Let me know of any errors or comments.

Dennis:
I have downloaded the file and have started to play with it.
So far so good. It will, I think when printed make a A4 or 8.5*11 monthly
calendar,
with the holidays as in the second file. I think that I know how to
change the file to
set up Canadian holidays (What about Danish holidays?)

Most of the folk that I know have a pocket calendar, about
6.5*7(long)[0.75 heading,
4.5 for 5 weeks, and 1.5 for notes].

Q1 Can your calendar be modified to look after such, and, have printed in
the
notations for each day (has to be limited)?
Q2 Does anyone out there know of something similar to what I would like to
do?
Chris
