Which release of OOo and which OS? WE need this info to help you. If you have 2.x, install the German language pack and use that exclusively. By doing so, you will not have to uninstall and you will have access to both languages. Check http://de.openoffice.org/ to see if you can get it from there. If not, send a message to the de mailing list asking when it will be available and then try http://oootranslation.services.openoffice.org/pub/OpenOffice.org/ If you end up using the latter, select from 2.0.1rc5 for 2.0.1 or 2.0rc2 for 2.0. -- PLEASE KEEP MESSAGES ON THE LIST.
