Openoffice is available from openoffice.org free of charge. If you
have a slow connection, you can use any number of download managers
(Getright, leechget, Fresh download, etc...) to help with the download.
I know that several online stores offer you a chance to buy Openoffice
on CD as well. You can check here:
http://distribution.openoffice.org/cdrom/ for someone to purchase it from.
