I'd rather not try a test version. I'd rather wait until the bugs are ironed
out. Will the updated version be for just Calc or for all OpenOffice
programs? Any idea when the new version comes out, and how will we know?
Will we be sent an e-mail when this happens? Will we need to delete the old
version or will the new one just overwrite the older version? Replacement
instructions would be appreciated at that time. Thanks. Jean

The problem with the Help in Calc is well known. There is an updated
version
of OpenOffice.org which should be released very soon which fixes many bugs
including this one. You can download a test version from :
http://download.openoffice.org/680/index.html
Also there are many manuals and HOWTOs available on
http://documentation.openoffice.org
