This is confusing to me. Can someone explain this?
I don't know the implementation details (whether there's an internal substitution list or an algorithm), but OOo will be substituting fonts. You can also set up your own substitutions in Tools - Options - OpenOffice.org - Fonts. You can type in the name of a font in that drop list box as well. So if you need to, you can type "Times New Roman" and that's what will be recorded in the document when you save it. What system are you on? Sounds like it's not Windows. Do you need to download one of the free Times New Roman fonts (use File - Wizards - Install font from the web). If you're on Windows I thought OOo used the system fonts. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
