I am running OOo v2.0 on an FC4 box. I recently tried a simple exercise
with the Draw app - I created a rectangle of a certain dimension
(according to the markings on the ruler - in inches), and then printed
it via cups. I was surprised to see that not only was its location
completely
different (it looked like it was set in about 1.5 inches from where it
should have been), the dimensions of the shape weren't at all accurate-
about 1/8 inch too short in both height and width. I also tried it
with a 1.9 version of OOo running on a windows box, printing via samba.
This one had problems as well, although the margins were handled better.
The dimensions of the shape were almost what they should have been, but
still not accurate. As a means of comparison, I did the same exercise
with Scribus, and it was dead on.
Any ideas on what might be happening here would be appreciated.
