My friend, you are a true Gentleman (and with a capital G!) and a scholar.
It worked like a charm. Never thought about that little tick mark. Which
brings me to the installation item: want to import your personal settings?,
or such. It does warn that "most" settings will make it, others not. I guess
this did not make it, lest things for that settings item changed from v.1.0
to v.2.0

And who are the ones that complain bitterly that there is no help available
at 02:00 (2 a.m. for you) for OpenOffice? I requested help late last night,
within 10 minutes I had the first answer, and now, very early in the
morning, I have the solution. So go and buy "OpenOffice for Dummies". It's
available and at half price at the computer store of that name. At least up
here in Canada.

Thanks again, pal.

M...

P.S. And yes, my tax refund is now a wonderful red minus number. For your
amusement.

: So, hopefully, to fix your problem, untick (detick?) that option.
