I had a problem with default settings for a printer in the printer dialogue not sticking. But the solution was to switch the printer driver. The system (in my case Suse) recognised the printer, but failed to load the recommended driver. When I changed that it all started to work properly. I can't say whether this is related to your problem or not. -- Andy Pepperdine On this mailing list help is provided by volunteers.
