Try File -> Send -> Document as E-mail... and also File -> Send ->
Document as PDF Attachment...
You can also mail merge directly through E-mail if you set up Tools ->
Options... -> OpenOffice.org Writer -> Mail Merge E-mail. See "Mail
merge E-mail" in the Help index.
Something that would effectively tarball it all up for use as an
attachment in kmail/whatever would certainly be nice. Not a
requirement, but one of the bells & whistles.
Yes, the E-mail features can be (and probably will be) further enhanced,
for example to allow multiple open documents to be included in a package.
But what value would there be in giving OpenOffice.org its own E-mail
module. It indeed made more sense to leave the free E-mail client
business to others.
