No, burning the software on the CD won't take the same time as downloading it. I assume, that you only have a (slow) modem connection to the internet, because the download will take 7 hours. Copying the software on a CD will only take 30 minutes (maximum). More time is only needed, when you have a really old and slow CD burner.
