Thanks (Jean as well). Now I got it. Yet, I'm not sure what "Next time when you open this document you will have the update from template feature back" means...
Also, isn't there a possibility to make this automatic for all documents I created (but to wait for 00 2.0.3)?

Already more understandable. Yet, as newbie as I am, I get stuck later
on:

      * Click the Edit button and enter the following in the IDE.
        Sub FixDocument
        TemplateName = ThisComponent.DocumentInfo.Template
        if TemplateName <> "" then
        ThisComponent.DocumentInfo.Template = TemplateName
        end if
        End Sub
After hitting Edit, I get the attached window where I do not see how
to open the IDE to be able to copy/paste the macro instructions...
Sorry for the trouble.

Hi!

I'm referring to the FAQ located here:
http://documentation.openoffice.org/faqs/word_processing/050.html

I was glad to find the solution to my problem, but I do not manage to
go to Tools > Organize > New

Typo. Should read Tools > Macros > Organize Dialogs > New

Fixed when the web pages are staticized. Usually with in 30 minutes of
changes.

In my Tools menu (at least from Writer), there is no such thing as
Organize. There is well a possibility with Tools > Macros > Organize
Macros
but there is no New choices there.

I probably missed something...

Faq is fixed. Use Module tab rather than Dialogs. Or you could enter via
the BASIC slection. Either way you end up in the IDE.
